Arequipa 2

I have spent the last day recuperating and lounging around. I have never done this on a vacation before. It allows for some interesting experiences.

I started the weekend with breakfast from McDonalds.

Later in the day my friend and I tried to get Pizza Hut delivery to the hostel but that didn't work out but in the process one of the staff's cousin's helped us out and we ended up talking to her about different music between American and Peruvian culture. Peru like's classic rock and I bet you didn't know they have a guy that does a nearly perfect imitation of Axel Rose. It is the grand and traditional things that we look to in a country's culture but the modern is part of it too.

Today, after a ham and eggs breakfast, it was onto buying tickets for the next leg of the trip. Today I tried some more reading of a novel in Spanish and attempted to find a barber but did not succeed.

Tonight, I had a steak at a nice local restaurant.

I am leaving the Arequipa area tomorrow onto new places.
