Bye El Chaltén ...
Hello Los Antiguos ...
I decided to buy a bus ticket to Los Antiguos Argentina not knowing exactly what I would do but knowing I wanted to go north. I was told the bus trip was 10 hours and I'd be in town by 7. I also read it was a nice stopping place so maybe I'd find somewhere nice to stay with a single room and recharge. I did not get what I bargained for. The busride was 12 hours and got in at 9 going through the desert.

I stayed at a cheap hostel with no services instead because the town was so spread out it was pointless trying to find something nice. Services continue to drop.
Now the only place for internet is in cafe's and I cannot even check my email (you'd think Google would be a best bet) but somehow this blogsite keeps working.
Next, I am deciding to continue on into Chile on the Carretera Austral. It is supposed to be a beautiful but isolated section where travel is slow. This is the something different I am trying here. Normally I would just take a flight to somewhere comfortable but I am going to try the slow way, despite feeling huge frustrations on this trip about inefficiencies and things not going to plan. This is where the trip goes from a vacation to an adventure. You may not hear from me for awhile but I am hoping for some services in Coyhaique which is 1 to 4 days away.
